What You’ll Be Doing
- Grow and develop Coolamon’s sales presence across Western Australia
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, customers and dealers
- Identify new sales opportunities and develop new business within the territory
- Provide exceptional customer and dealer support
- Develop strong product knowledge and confidently conduct product demonstrations
- Attend field days, agricultural shows and industry events
- Keep up to date with the WA agricultural market, customer needs and competitor activity
- Work closely with the General Manager and wider Coolamon team to achieve sales goals and continue growing the brand
What We’re Looking For
- Proven sales, account management or business development experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine understanding or interest in agriculture and agricultural machinery
- A self-motivated, organised and results-driven approach
- Confidence working autonomously and managing your own territory
- Strong negotiation and customer service skills
- Agricultural industry experience is highly regarded
- Willingness to travel throughout Western Australia

FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Field Service Technician
Full Time | Agricultural Machinery | Field Service & Diagnostics
Location: Coolamon, NSW 2701
The Position
Work on premium agricultural equipment. Solve real problems in the field. Support Australian farmers during the moments that matter most.
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician who takes pride in their trade and enjoys the challenge of diagnosing and fixing machinery in the field.
No two days are the same. One day you could be commissioning a new machine, the next diagnosing a hydraulic issue on a farm during harvest.
If you enjoy getting out of the workshop, solving problems and working directly with customers, this could be the role for you.

What You’ll Do
As the face of Coolamon in the field, you’ll provide hands-on technical support to our customers and dealers.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Diagnosing and repairing agricultural machinery in the field
- Commissioning new machinery and ensuring equipment is operating as it should
- Installing upgrades, retrofits and optional equipment
- Completing warranty inspections and repairs
- Providing technical support to customers and dealers
- Troubleshooting hydraulic, mechanical and electrical issues
- Working closely with our engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues
- Providing valuable feedback from the field to support ongoing product improvements
- Managing and maintaining a fully equipped service vehicle
- Travelling to customer and dealer sites as required, particularly during peak seasons
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a technician who enjoys real diagnostics – not just parts swapping.
You’ll take pride in your work, communicate confidently with customers and be able to stay calm and work through problems when machinery needs to be back up and running quickly.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Relevant trade qualification
- Experience working with agricultural machinery
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Hydraulic and electrical fault-finding experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Current driver’s licence
- LR driver’s licence highly regarded
- A willingness to travel as required

- Working alongside the wider manufacturing team to produce high-quality machinery

Ideally, you’ll bring:

Your role will include:
- Assembling Coolamon machinery and components to required specifications
- Using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment
- Reading measurements and accurately fitting components
- Following assembly instructions, drawings and specifications
- Completing quality checks throughout the assembly process
- Identifying and reporting quality or assembly issues
- Maintaining tools and equipment
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area
- Working across different areas of production when required
- Supporting other areas of the workshop when required and appropriately skilled
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in producing quality work and wants to be part of a strong manufacturing team.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Experience in assembly, manufacturing, fitting or a similar hands-on environment – highly regarded
- Confidence using hand and power tools
- Ability to accurately read measurements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good mechanical aptitude and hand-eye coordination
- A reliable and positive approach to work
- Strong work ethic
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
- Commitment to workplace safety
- Forklift licence – highly regarded but not essential
